About Operations Forum TAPMI in T. A. Pai Management Institute Manipal - 576 104 Karnataka, India, Manipala

The forum aims to invoke interest among students in various areas of operations and information science such as Supply Chain, Analytics, Operation Strategies, Logistic solutions & many others. Operations forum aims to help students apply theoretical concepts to practical situations through engaging interactions with industry leaders. The forum has gradually evolved into a strong scaffold for building long-standing and mutually beneficial relationships between the corporate and student communities.

Events organized
1. Supply Chain and Operations Exposition - One of the biggest annual conclave of Operations Forum at TAPMI started in 2013 with an aim to increase interaction with industry stalwarts through panel discussions, lecture series, one to one interactions and interviews. The purpose of the expert interaction is to learn from their experience, understand their perspective and remain abreast with the latest developments in the operations world.

2. OPS Diaries - This annual event is held to help the fellow students know what it feels like to be in the role of an Operations & Supply Chain manager and to demystify the myths surrounding the role of Operations & Supply Chain in the Industry. Peer to peer learning is engaged in Ops Diaries where students who have worked in various domains of operations present their experience through presentations and different aided tools.

OpSights – The main objective of this activity, conducted by Operations Forum, is to spread real time industry knowledge to the students. This will help students to keep updated with the latest happenings in the industry which can also help them in future.
