About Project Manas, Manipal in Automobile Workshop, MIT, Manipala

Project MANAS is the official undergraduate AI Robotics Research team of Manipal University. We are a 40 members strong team spanning various domains of engineering. Our projects span multiple domains like robotic arm , autonomous wheel-chair,self balancing bot,workshop automation and etc.

Currently we are focused on a driver-less car specifically adapted to the Indian conditions. We're amongst the top 13 teams in Mahindra's Spark the Rise Driverless Car challenge and are the only undergraduate team from a private university to have made it this far.Along with this we are also preparing to participate in IGVC 2018.

We have not only gained a lot of support from the University but also from companies like Continental, Mahindra REVA, NVIDIA,Gigabyte, Pepperl+Fuchs, Microsoft, National Instruments,CoolerMaster and others.
