1. REGULAR GROUP SESSIONS:
(1 hour session, conducted 4-5 times a week)
SKANDA YOGA INDIA conducts group yoga sessions in India. These sessions are
conducted by experienced teachers with a dynamic approach that makes the yoga
session powerful, holistic, innovative and fun.
2. PERSONAL TRAINING:
( 3-4 times per week, one hour per session)
SKANDA YOGA INDIA also provides personal training sessions at your doorstep. Apart
from all the components of group session, they also includes passive stretches,
relaxation and rejuvenation techniques unique to SKANDA YOGA INDIA.
3. CORPORATE YOGA WORKSHOPS:
(Half day / full day or based on requirement)
Our workshops are designed to give you a complete yoga experiencing from
understanding yoga to experiencing the miraculous effects of the various yogic
techniques that the science has to offer some aspects we cover are - stress relief, overall
fitness, back problem, posture correction and weight loss. The sessions can be designed
to address a specific group - junior, middle or senior-level management. SKANDA YOGA
INDIA, The vision of spreading a form of yoga that would help people first get in shape,
become disease-free and then move towards the higher practices akin to Patanjali’s
Ashtanga Yoga.
A thoroughly researched, scientifically developed form of yoga, SKANDA YOGA INDIA

Our classes are energizing and rejuvenating while being meditative and calm. The idea
is to break into a sweat, push the body and also feel completely relaxed and de-stressed
by the end of the class. It is with this idea in mind that Dev& Kavya created this specific
module. We call it the SKANDA YOGA INDIA experience.
1. WARM-UP
The body cannot be pulled; stretched or worked upon without a warm-up otherwise it
may lead to injury and strain. A good warm-up ensures that one’s muscles are warm
and stretchable.
2. WHOLE BODY STRETCHING
After warm-up,one needs to open up and stretch the key muscles and joints of the body.
Sixteen key points are identified from head to toe that prepare the body for a complete
workout.
3. SURYA NAMASKARA OR SUN SALUTATION
A very important aspect of SKANDA YOGA INDIA, Surya namaskara or solar vitalization
is a dynamic exercise consisting of ten postures. It completes the process started by
warm-up and whole body stretching. Depending on the pace employed, it improves
cardiovascular endurance, burns up many calories, aligns all the chakras (plexus) and
Energizes each cell.
4. BODY PART TRAINING
Sports medicine says that in order to maximize results, only two body parts should be
exercised daily. Twenty-two minute of the one-hour session are dedicated to the
targeted body parts. This ensures toning, strengthening and weight-loss and even
Sculpts re-shapes the body.

5. PASSIVE STRETCHING
One of the unique aspects of SKANDA YOGA INDIA, Passive stretching uses the help of a
partner to apply a series of stretches that work on all problem areas that are stiff and
inflexible. It greatly improves flexibility, blood circulation, revitalizes the system and
gives deep relaxation. This is very effective way by which a group of students partner in
each other’s growth. This routine, not only makes the practice enjoyable, but also helps
to develop understanding between the associates. It functions as an effective teambuilding
activity.
6. BANDHA, KRIYA, PRANAYAMA, MUDRA
At the end of the session, these powerful techniques detoxify the system, rejuvenate the
body and rebalance the hormones.
7. MEDITATION
After an action packed session, a few minutes are set aside to regroup, be silent and
stabilize the entire system so the mind is calm and refreshed.
