About IEEE Students' Technology Symposium - TechSym in Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur

IEEE Students' Technology Symposium 2016 will be organized by IEEE Student Branch at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur along with the IEEE EMB Student Club and IEEE SPS Student Branch Chapter of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and the WiE Affinity of the Kharagpur Section. The event will host oral and poster sessions showcasing original contributions from students and young professionals, with subsequent publications through the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The fourth edition of the symposium, previously held in 2010, 2011, and 2014, will also have avenues for undergraduate project displays along with hardware hackathon competitions and technical challenges for young engineers and researchers. This time, we also plan to have an Undergraduate Research Slams to encourage greater participation by undergraduate students and engineers. TechSym 2016 also includes cutting edge keynote talks and exciting opportunities to interact with some of the leading figures in academia and industry. The symposium will also provide opportunities to learn from technological giants with technical workshops and tutorials. Finally, the symposium offers opportunities to network amongst your peers over symposium luncheons and dinners on all days of the event and separate networking sessions by the SPS Student Chapter, EMB Student Club, and Women in Engineering Affinity.
