About LBS Recreation Month in LBS Hall, IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur

How often is it that we try to interact with our seniors and juniors but end up not doing it because we could not find a particular way to approach them? Although several ideas for the interactions were implemented by the Institute, they never were effective enough to bring about a foreseeable change in the trend.

With all the freshmen strength in LBS Hall of Residence, it became extremely important for us to bring out a concept that ensured the much required interaction between the third years with the second and first years. Thus came LBS Recreation Month. Spanning a month, the event encompasses around 15 team events. Each event having teams with at least one 3rd year, one 2nd year and two 1st years students.

We believe LBS Recreation Month is a fun, innovative and an effective way to bring in interaction between various batches of students.
