Environmental Assessment Services
Environmental assessment is a process to predict the environmental effects of proposed initiatives before they are carried out. All developmental activities use natural resources as raw material and the wastes generated are disposed into different environmental media. An environmental assessment identifies possible environmental effects due to developmental activities, proposes measures to mitigate adverse effects, and predicts whether there will be significant adverse environmental effects, even after the mitigation is implemented. The two main purposes of environmental assessment are to minimize or avoid adverse environmental effects before they occur and to incorporate environmental factors into decision making. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is one of the proven management tools for incorporating environmental concerns in development process and also in improved decision making. EIA studies are mandatory for obtaining environmental clearance prior to construction for many categories of industry in India. The study needs to be carried out based on the EIA Notification published by the Ministry of Environment and Forests & Climate Change Govt. of India during the year 2006 and its subsequent amendments.

•Hydro-geological Studies:
Hydro-geological Studies is a methodical study or investigation of the subsurface hydrologic and geologic conditions in an area or location. Data are collected about the type and thickness of geologic materials, the occurrence of ground water, how it flows in pore spaces and/or fractures, the quality of the ground water, and what can be expected at wells. The Hydro-geological study reveals the ground water potential, recharge and discharge capacity and level of groundwater of a particular location which will in turn effect the usage of groundwater in the particular area. The field work may consist of borehole drilling, well construction and pumping tests to determine hydrologic performance, running geophysics to refine or confirm geologic information, and water sampling for water quality analysis. Major mining projects always need Hydro-geological Assessment before stating any mining activities in the area.

Rain Water Harvesting (RWH)
Rain water harvesting is the accumulation and storage of rainwater for reuse before it reaches the aquifer. It involves a simple technique in which water is collected or stored from roof-tops and ground or directly during rainfall, filtered and then recharged it back into the ground water aquifers (natural water streams underground) in the area. Then the system is maintained so that properly filtered water reaches the aquifers. Rainwater harvesting provides an autonomous water supply during scarcity of regional water system.
As per Ministry of Urban Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (India) order issued in 2006, buildings having a plot area of 200 square meters and above, whether old or new should have RWH system. This arrangement shall be made by the owner of the house at his own cost. Building where plot area is less than 200 sq. mt this arrangement shall be planned on community basis. While preparing the RWH system at site care is taken of the existing structures in the premises such as abandoned water well/ dry well etc.

Wildlife Conservation Plan
Wildlife Conservation Plan is a comprehensive plan consisting of baseline information on the Wildlife Biodiversity of the Study Area which is prepared based on primary and secondary data from various sources. The impact on Wildlife habitat, their niches, and migratory paths/corridors is assessed on the basis of data collected and as well as taking help of temporal Remote Sensing data. The fragmentation of Wildlife habitats and continuous Forest patches, distraction of migratory corridors are identified. Mitigation measures are suggested especially to improve the wildlife habitat status as well as considering the requirement of different wildlife species present in the food-web of local ecosystem.
Ecological & Biological Diversity Impact Assessment Studies & Ecological Gap Analysis:
Biodiversity consist of variation of all animal and plant species in the study area of the interest apart from diversity in the habitat.
