Situated at Tatarpur and only 3.5 km from Bolpur Santiniketan Railway Station, SIP, an endeavour of ‘SWADHIN’ is now committed to produce competent professionals in respect of the changing needs of the life and society. The campus is linked with communications spreading over different points of transit Again the campus is just one km away from Bolpur Sub- Divisional Hospital at Sian.

The institute is entirely free from all sorts of pollution and disturbances.

The total area of the campus spreads over a land area of 15 acres. Building of the Institute cover nearly 40% of the area. It deserves special mention that ‘SWADHIN’ also runs here other institutions - Santiniketan D.Ed. College, Santiniketan College of Education, Santiniketan B.Ed. College and Santiniketan Private ITI.
