Nirbhao Nirvair Ashram was founded in 2009 as a registered charitable Non-Profit organization to serve humanity.

We hope you all are aware of the fact that in India the number of visually handicap persons is quite high. Below mentioned facts are alarming to our society:

1. 48 million people in India are visually handicapped.

2. 75% of them suffer unnecessarily from easy curable blindness.

3. Most of them cannot afford to visit eye health professionals.

Master plan for vision: - All of us have a right to see this beautiful world clearly. We wish healthy vision for everyone, and early detection can prevent blindness

Our main aim is to reach everyone’s door step to provide them completely free of cost quality eye-sight check-up and issue them free spectacles, irrespective of caste, class, creed or location.

Our Steps: -During camps and OPD, we have observed that mostly women, children and elder people are visiting more in numbers than men. This is due to the fact that men have better access to eye-professionals as compared to women and elder people.

Remember: Women too have the right to see better and enjoy this beautiful world around. Let us not allow them to suffer by becoming needlessly blind. Fact is that every 5 seconds someone is losing eye-sight. So the question arises; what needs to be done to improve eye-sight for women as they are the key to better and healthier family? Can we do something to change this curable blindness?

First of all, one needs to understand that poor eye-sight can be a life changing experience affecting you and everyone around you and many a times early detection can prevent one from blindness. But Most of the times the people in need do not know where to turn for help.
