About Vallalar Educational trust in gingee main road, Villupuram

This is a school in Kanjanur Village 3 hours away from chennai in Tamil Nadu. It is an hours drive from Pondicherry. The school has a hundred students that come from local families. They have simple resources and are lacking in facilities such as toilets and clean water in the villages. We have established groups for the community such as Womens group and leprosy group. We are also looking at projects like getting a cow for the school so its milk can help to run and support the school also we have an on going pilot project with bio diesel that is gaining a lot of interest.
