We take great pleasure to cordially invite you along with the members of your family, friends and well wishers for JAGANNATH RATH YATRA FESTIVAL - 2014 @ VASAI, the Festival of Chariots.

Originated thousands of years ago in Jagannath Puri, Srila Prabhupada organized the first Ratha Yatra in the western world in 1967 in San Francisco. Since then this festival is being celebrated all over the world.

The Deities who grace the Chariots are kept throughout the year within temples where They are worshiped daily in a regulative way. But once a year They emerge in order that the public may see Them. Krishna in the form of Lord Jagannath, the Lord of the universe. This is the only day when devotees who are not allowed in the Temple premises such as foreigners, can get a glimpse of the Deities.
