The event takes place every year according to the Urdu calendar on 8th rabiawwal, martyrdom of Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.). The procession is very renown, observed by millions of people and is some back 65years old.The procession commence from early morning at Shabbir & Safdar Imambargah, Dalmandi Varanasi and concluded at far away in the evening at Dargah-e-Fatmain .
