About Awesome Life Saving Society - ALSS in gangamal, Varanasi

In 1997, North Delhi witnessed a terrible accident wherein 28 students died due to drowning in the Yamuna River. Luckily, there were some swimmers in the vicinity who tried pulling out those children but alas! The people who tried to save them were not aware of lifesaving techniques. These 28 children lost their lives just because of lack of awareness of these skills.
An accident can take place anywhere - at home in transit or at work. When it occurs, the people gather around the victim but usually fail to take any action as they don’t know what to do and what not.

Looking at the present day scenario, we found a tremendous urge of creating awareness about safety and related techniques, and feeding the same urge, we came up with idea of AWESOME LIFE SAVING SOCIETY where we help people develop these life saving skills by teaching proper techniques to them, imparting consciousness and spreading awareness.

A lifesaver is termed equivalent to god. If one devotes merely 8 to 12 hours of one's life to learn life saving techniques, he/she can help someone on this earth as a lifesaver, at least saving that person from the wrath of water.
