About Mirage'12 in IT-BHU, Varanasi

Well just don't go by the name because this is no mirage,mirage'12 will be something so surreal and enthralling,probably you wont forget its aura.

So is mirage just a fashion show? probably not because it is an extravaganza,a subtle amalgamation of a Professional Fashion Show and a Pan India Inter-Collegiate Competition. Apart from upcoming models from across the nation, it also showcases fashionistas from Gladrags, adorned in apparels from the biggest fashion houses in the country.

In the past, Nikita Anand (Miss India Universe, 2003), Niharika Singh (Miss India Earth, 2005) have set the the ramp ablaze with their panache.

So what are you waiting for,come for the enthralling experience in this pronite being organized under the aegis of kashiyatra'12,which the colorful and zestful cultural fest of IT-BHU.


Well as for the rules here they are:

1. There should be 8-15 participants per team exclusive of the designer,choreographer and supporting members.
2. Time limit for the main round is 8-15 minutes. Extra 3-4 min will be given for Stage Setting. Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
3. A green room would be provided for changing purpose.
4. One person per team must be there to manage sound track.
5. Each team should have a theme for their sequence.
6. Emphasis will be given to clothing, choreography, walking style and originality.
7. No props and costumes will be provided by us. Teams have to bring their own costumes and props.
8. Use of materials like candles,matches,cigrattes,alcohol and any hazardous materials on stage is prohibited. Teams are required to contact organizers before using such stuffs.
9. Two copies of soundtrack to be submitted in advance in standard audio format- .wav or.mp3 of sound quality 192kbps or above to the organizers(in C.Ds, or pendrives).
10. Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification of the team from the event. Hence,if the team feels that any stunt of costume design can be deemed as vulgar,it is strongly advised to consult organizers then performing it directly on stage.
11. The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final.
12. Special prizes for best male and best female model.
13. Candidates for the best male and female model will be choosen from all the teams doing their performance. The candidates thus selected individually for the title.
14. It is imperative that all team members must possess a valid college id which must be presented at the time of registration. However, designer and choreographer could be hired professional.
