About St.James church

Tooveypuram pastorate is one of the most important pastorates in CSI-Thoothukudi Nazareth diocese. Our St.James church is the head quarters of the Tooveypuram pastorate. The church was a branch of St.Peter’s Church, Shanmugapuram till 1970.

After this, the church separated itself from the roots and formed a new pastorate with four sub-churches namely,
St.James Church, Tooveypuram
St.Thomas Church, Silverpuram.
St.Zion Church, Zion Nagar.
Holy Trinity Church, Pandarampatti.
