TechTop 2017 is the 12th time we are holding this competition. What a great trip it has been.

We started TechTop competition as an experiment to see what happens if we create a platform for innovators to present their ideas for products that can make a positive impact on life. Today, we have more than 200 teams applying from all over India to be considered for a chance to present their product concept. Needless to say, the competition is fierce.

The economy of a nation is built primarily by innovators and entrepreneurs through the creation of new products, services and businesses. However, we often forget to celebrate these prime-movers of wealth and job creation in our community.

The idea of having a competition to celebrate the latent innovation talents of engineering students was conceived in the year 2005. It was designed as an event to show innovations from engineering students to the community and inspire the next generation engineers.　

This is the eighth of this competition. We look forward to seeing your great innovations in July 2017.
