About Crossroads' Trailer Making in Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, Trivandrum

Re-live those golden moments!

For the first time, we present to you, Trailer Making. An opportunity for the budding video makers to showcase their video editing talents. If you are talented enough and wish to make or watch trailers of our golden flicks, then this event is exclusively for you.

Rules:
1. This is a solo event. The contestants shall choose any "U" certified Malayalam films released on or before 2004 films and corresponding trailer should be made.
2. The trailer can be submitted either online, by mail (using Google drive) or offline, directly at the college.
3. Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline (5/03/2016) lapses and Submissions should be send at crossroadstrailermaker@gmail.com
4. Videos submitted must be at least 640 pixels on the shorter side, and no more than 2000 pixels on the longer side.
5. Duration of the video should be between 2 to 3.5minutes. However additional 10 seconds can be taken to provide credits. If the video exceeds the time limit, it will lead to disqualification.
6. Video must be in MP4 / Mpeg / mkv /avi format.
7. You are required to provide your name & description at the end of the video.
8. The submitted video must be unique and should not be available on the net. If the video is found to be copied the participant will be disqualified from the programme.
9. Contestants are free to use any editing software and video effects.
10. Judges decisions are final. Questioning the decisions will lead to disqualification.

12. Entries of the Participants who haven't paid their registration fee within March 6 2pm will be disqualified .

** Participants should grant the permission to upload their respective video with their description on YOUTUBE via "CROSSROADS MOVIE CHALLENGE" channel

PROCEDURE:
The "trailer making" will be conducted as a single round. The first prize will be based on the Judge's decision and the second prize will be on online polling. The video uploading and entries will be accepted from February 25 onwards and the polling of the video will commence from March 3 to March 5 midnight to decide the winner.

Registration Fee : 150 per head

First Prize: RS 8,000
Second Prize: RS 4,000
