SFI TECHNOS
Engineering education is one of the biggest and growing educational spheres in Kerala. The engineering student’s community which holds about one lakh students did not have a common platform until TECHNOS was formed. The very genuine thought of creating a common platform for the engineering students gave birth to TECHNOS (All Kerala Engineering Students Association) in 2003 September at the Calicut conference. From there on TECHNOS was able to address and intervene in almost very issue and policies related to the engineering sector.
TECHNOS in order to encourage the creative & artistic talents of young technocrats conducted state level engineering students arts festival ‘TECHNOFEST’, in Kannur and then in Thrissur. The student organization also conducted two national level technical symposiums, and hence made its presence vital in the field of engineering education.
The largest professional students organization in India, conducted its third state conference at Govt Engineering College Thrissur. As part the conference a two day national level technical workshop ’SEQUENCE 07’ was conducted, it was a full fledged arena for inquisitive youngsters to explore their realms of interest in science, technology in conjunction social justice.
