The Navaneethas group of businesses was established in 1955 under the name Sri Navaneetha Krishna stores to sell cotton sarees, dhoties and towels. Though we had a modest beginning, he laid us with a right platform on how the business should be done. It was his vision that revolutionized the small business into a conglomerate with diverse business interests. He still continues to inspire us to scale greater heights.
With our 60 years of experience in the field of textile business had helped us to look beyond business. Hard work never fails and we feel proud in cherishing the success. Nearly four decades have witnessed the transition of our small store in Lalgudi to the massive one catering the needs of thousands of people from villages around the town. The subsequent expansion and improvement plans helped us to anchor ourselves in selling the best textile varieties at reasonable cost. Today, as we look back at a glorious past look forward to a fine future, we shall ensure that we continue to stand the test of time for generations to come.....
Today Navaneethas vision is taken forward by the Sri P.Sugumar and Sri P.Suresh following the footsteps of their father. Their continue effort made enormous changes in the business policies and principles. We ensure there is integrity and ethical approach in all our dealings, reflecting our values – reliability and trustworthiness. We then became the first to open exclusive air-conditioned showroom for Silk sarees which included wedding silks, traditional and silk cotton sarees, Suitings & Shirtings, Formal & Casual Wear, Dhoties, Sherwanis & Children's Wear.

Holding the visionary value of our fore fathers, we opened our second branch in the Tiruchirapalli. In 2009, Navaneethas Menswear was started with a thought to cater the needs of the teenage guys. Having served the purpose and continued support from customers transformed the existing one into a Family shop within a year.
