About Sri Vageesha Vidhyashram (Alma Mater) in Melur Road,Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli

With the benign blessings of His Holiness Srirangam Srimad Andavan Sri Vedantha Ramanuja Mahadesikan, Sri Vageesha Vidhyashram, the brain child of the Director and Correspondent Shri R. Maadhvachariar, blossomed at Srirangam with a holistic approach and futuristic vision to provide value based education. Under the dynamic leadership of the Correspondent, the citadel of education is functioning, supported by a group of experienced educationists.

The school has at present strength of 1070 students from Pre KG to class X. It provides a child centered, competent quality education with a system of activity oriented teaching and participative learning. Individual attention with special coaching is being given to slow learners and extra effort and motivation for bright children to enhance their brilliance.

Art education is a part of the curriculum. Vedas, Bagavad Gita and Sanskrit are being taught as extra curricular education. Children are encouraged to become articulate, gain confidence and fluency in English, Sanskrit, Tamil and Hindi. Vedic Education is imparted to the eligible students and Yoga is an integral part of the curriculum.
