About Kotakal Arya Vaidyasala-Nellayi in nellayi, Thrissur

Kottakal is one of the pioneers in the ayurvedic school of health care system in India, founded in 1902 by the Late Vaidyaratnam P.S Variyar at Kottakal in Malappuram district of Kerala.Kottakal AVS group has established a pan-India network with a little over 900 authorized dealers engaged in the sale of in-house produced medicines.

A unit of this esteem chain of ‘arya vaidyasala’ has started functioning in Nellayi with the blessings of St.Mary’s church vicar Fr.Benny Karumalikal,Prapukara Panchayat President P.K Prasad,friends and relatives.This division is established by Anto Thomas Kalan,an Ayurvedic practitioner at Kalan Sameera Ayurveda Clinic started essentially as a village clinic. He took a giant leap to open a AVS authorized store on NH-47 near St.Mary’s church nellayi,for the sale of all classical medicines and also rendering expert medical advice.
The unit will be open 12 hrs a day 6 days a week from 8:30am -8:30pm for the sale of AVS manufactured and quality checked medicines.
