The chief promoter of the company is Mr.Chemmanur Devassykutty Boby, a young and dynamic businessman of the day and a renowned name in the jewellery field. His family was into jewellery line of business for the last 149 years and has made the brand name Chemmanur internationally famous and is well known among 19 Crore population throughout the world (as per SMU survey). Chemmanur International Jewellers has got the unique distinction of the world’s first jewellery to receive ISO certification for quality management and BIS certification for purity of gold.

Mr.Boby Chemmanur evinced very keen interest in the gold business and his successful experience in this line had given sufficient encouragement to him to venture the NBFC line of business. The group owns 25 jewellery outlets in and outside India with manpower of 5000 employees at various levels. His business skills were duly recognised and acknowledged by the business community all over the world. As a result, he bagged many awards, both national and international for his overall business excellence and acumen.
