About The John Jacob Memorial Quiz Competition in St Mary's Orthodox Syrian Church, Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram

‘The John Jacob Memorial Quiz Competition’is an Inter-Church quiz competition organized by St. Mary’s Orthodox Youth Forum, Nalanchira.

The event was first organized in 1996, as a means of
commemorating our beloved member, John Jacob s/o P.Y.Jacob (Puthenvilayil ushus) who entered his
Heavenly abode in 1991.

Now the programme has acquired much popularity among the students and churches alike. The 16th edition of John Jacob Memorial Quiz will be held on the 9th of August 2013.
Members above the age of 15 upto the age of 30 years can participate in the event.

We request you to be kind enough to inform all the members of your Youth Forum and send teams representing your unit,as participants.
