Beerbuck Café is our father-son duo’s dream come true!
While the two of us enjoy our drink, the scope for having one outside of our home, in a laidback convivial atmosphere in Thane was limited. So we decided to do something about it – literally taking things into our own hands!
Getting out of our number-crunching routines in Finance (Father Milind’s job & son Ajinkya’s education), we started this exciting new café at Castle Mill Naka – aimed at giving the people a beer for the price of a coffee and a few eats to go with it. Well, with Kunal Patel of Vasai’s Big Bad Burrito fame joining us, and a CDP team of Bhuvan, Bhagwat, Alamgir & Krishna, one thing led to another and we have now evolved into a full-fledged wine-n-dine place, with main courses and all – Indian, Continental, Tandoor, Fast Food…….you name it! Maintaining our DNA of being an offbeat, laidback, contemporary joint has been an achievement while doing so – our regulars frequently vouch for it.
We seem to be doing something right as our reviews continue to overwhelm us and our rating on Zomato continues on its upward trajectory, with the Crispy Chicken in Thai Sauce narrowly beating the other items on the menu :) And now (hold your breath), with a liquor license under our belt, we are doing what we do best – beer, flavoured beer, beer-on-tap, beer pints, beer buckets, beer pitchers, beer this beer that (well the last two are just for the effect…) – and we have the ladies go ga-ga over the chandies!
