To channelize the savings and surplus financial resources of the NRG for development efforts of Southern Gujarat.

To monitor the general welfare of the NRG and in time of crisis, identify specific problems of NRG and to take up the same with Government of India.

To take up other such activities as many be entrust by State Government.
