We Make Spaces is an architecture and interior design studio based in Surat. A radical design practice with a multi-disciplinary and an integrated design approach. At WMSpaces, the design methodology takes a leap forward in looking beyond evolving forms, and it truly believes in designing processes which in-turn are evolutionary, and shape the design.

‘We Make Spaces’ refers to inception of spaces to create enduring experience for the user. A space is where you are in and a place where you are. Spaces come together to make a place.

We offer development of spatial solutions, tailored and optimized for the individual place, purpose and user. It’s our philosophy to create experiences based on the interaction between a structure, the human body, and the context of the surroundings. We wish to bring exciting spatial, physical and visual experiences into people’s everyday lives, whether it is with a small temporary installation design or with an entire building. It is our intention to offer the user a broader view on, how our surrounding spaces can stimulate and support us, both physically, intellectual and emotional.

We believe, that architecture is an art form with a profound effect on the physical world and on human activities and possibilities. It is an artistic technical exercise to make an interesting building, to make a piece of architecture. Architecture without an artistic extra spatial dimension to it is a poor existence, that doesn’t take responsibility for the space it occupies. We think that we are only just starting to see, what architecture can do.

The idea is to make world a place of spatial experiences.
