About CCDU WEMTEP Jammu and Kashmir State in , Srinagar

Communication and Capacity Development Unit, Jammu and Kashmir has been conceptualized by Department of Drinking Water Supply, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. This unit has been created to support the reform initiatives in the field of water and sanitation sector. The unit is totally funded by Department of Drinking Water Supply, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The Government of India has repackaged the National programmes on water and sanitation and introduced sector reforms. The need for reforms was felt on account of lessons learnt and constraints faced during implementation of previous programmes on water and sanitation namely AWRSP and CRSP.
