About SRVES(Social Royal Voluntary Environmental Service) in SDA Coloney Bemina, Srinagar

SRVES (Social Royal Voluntary Environmental Service ) is a non-governmental, non political, non profit, voluntary in letter & sprit having its aims and objectives as under:

Ø To identify the tribulations which hamper the development and progress of the social objectives.

Ø Cataloging out the cons of the daily way of living on the social point.

Ø Serve as a rectifier to all those objectives which act as modifiers of progress in various aspects of living.

Ø Serve as a rectifier to all ignorant people through the relevant schemes of government.

Ø Scrutinize the development as well as squalor of the level of position of all flora and fauna.

Ø Ensure elevated standards of class in terms of imparting the environmental edification especially to youth.

Ø Endorse the awareness schemes through different multipurpose and adaptable activities.

Ø To disburse a keen concern in the current position of rate of matters like social evils in the society, population, pollution, deforestation etc

Ø To look into the matters of common people in their problems related to the side effects of schemes and programs of various other environmental groups.

Ø To do something good for the endangering of various species and to go to the root of the cause.

Ø To act as a conduit between the common living species and the authorities of upshot.

Ø To provide and extent helping hand to all needy people in the field of medical care (especially pregnant women living in far flung areas),awareness in field of education(i.e. to organize awareness programs about education in the backward areas),campaigning regarding water born diseases, adult education programs, etc for the society irrespective of color, creed, sex & nationality.

Ø To help in the eradication of dowry, child marriages, child labor, bonded labor, forced labor, untouchability, drug addiction, drinking, smoking, social and moral development of society and to mobilize public opinion against these maladies, extending legal as well as medical aid to the victims through the legal councils, hospitals and dispensaries.

Ø To work for integral rural development, environmental improvement and ecological balance.

Ø To work for the women belonging to schedule cast, schedule tribe and other backward classes and weaker sections and find out ways and means to promote socio-economic conditions.

Ø To render voluntary services to those effected by natural calamity and organize medical and relief camps for them

Ø To provide and render all possible help to the victims of exploitation and other atrocities by way of prevention, intervention and rehabilitation particularly for working child, destitute women, youth , aged and physically handicapped, mentally retorted and socially backward persons.

Ø To manage to setup orphanage, destitute homes, besides setting up of hostels for working women and girls particularly hailing from rural areas working in cities and towns and to build schools for orphans.

Ø To create and arrange facilities for all-round education and training for women in various fields, such as:

1. Social hygiene, business management, home science, social health and family welfare and library science.

2. Cutting and tailoring, spinning, weaving and knitting, embroidery, art and craft and culture, poultry farm, computer training and other job oriented and resource generating trainings.

3. To assist the trainees on completion of their training to organize co-operative societies, business establishments and small scale units in their respective trades to enable them to make out their livelihood.

4. To approach government and other social welfare organizations and financial organizations to provide them grants, loans and other facilities under self employment and other schemes.
