Thought of building Hotel Marhaba and Restaurant came to a person who himself visited many hotels and restaurant Nationally and Internationally for he being the International Footballer. The game of football reached its extreme heights in the valley during his tenure and leadership in the field of football.
The man non other than Mr Mohammad Yousuf Dar First Senior International Football Player of the state who represented India in 1977-78 needs no introduction in the field of sports.

Being the aspiration of so many football players of the valley who proved their iron in the sports field under his guidance

Mr Mohammad Yousuf Dar not only the first professional football player from the state who played for Mohammadan Sporting Football Club Kolkata in early 70´s but also the Joint Managing Director of The State Road Transport Corporation of Jammu and Kashmir.

After retiring from Govt services a firm foundation of Hotel Marhaba and Restaurant was laid by him in the centre of commercial hub of the Srinagar city at Jehangir Chowk and was inaugurated in the year 2006.
