This institution is situated in Sivagiri about 10 km west of Kodumudi in Erode District.


S.S.V. Primary and Nursery School, Sivagiri was started in June 1986 and it was upgraded as Matriculation school in 1989 and Matriculation Higher Secondary School in 1994. Thiru. PK. Palanisamy Gounder who was the president of this school from 1987 to 1999, was instrumental in establishing this school with the active co-operation of all the members of SSV Board.
This Co-education Institution has a strength of about 1500 students and more than 70 teaching and 50 non teaching staff. The classes are accommodated in two or three terraced buildings. The Boys Hostel with about 200 students and the Girls Hostel with about 50 students are maintained within the campus.
For the convenience of the day scholars, a fleet of about 12 buses and vans are plying.
Yoga, Music, Bharadhanattiyam, spoken english and other fine arts and computer science are being taught to the students. Students are also trained in Scout, NSS, etc.
Almost 100% results are achieved in 10th and 12th Standard during all these, years with almost 95% of them passing in first class.
