The Blue Pine Cake Co. is my endeavour to introduce bespoke cakes and exclusive desserts which have taken the Indian metropolises by storm, to the Queen of Hills.... Shimla. It is an also effort to bring back the tradition of high tea parties which resounded in the hills during the British Raj. My passion for baking that I had since school has been honed in the recent years under the mentorship of Mrs. Swati Venkatesan, Master pastry Chef, with over 16 years of experience with the Oberoi Group. She is credited with setting up the pastry shop at the Wildflower Hall, Shimla. She also headed the pastry kitchen for the celebrity chef Anton Mosimann in London. I have trained under Chef Nagpal, Executive Head Chef of the Culinary and Cake Decorating School who has over 15 years of experience and Mrs. Swati Jain, an artist who has been trained in South Africa and England under the Masters in this field.

The Blue Pine Cake Co. is a sole proprietorship. The philosophy of the old and advancements of the new guide me. The name of the company and its logo bearing the blue pine is a tribute to the state tree of my adopted home state....Himachal Pradesh.

I create and provide bespoke cakes, cup cakes, brownies, pies, cookies, cheesecakes and chocolates for all occasions, be it a birthday, anniversary, parties, bachelor/hen parties, baby showers, wedding engagements, festivals, kitty parties, events.

The best quality ingredients from around the world are used in an aim to provide the best quality product. Be it..... pure chocolate or cocoa powder, imported edible colours or cake decorations or fruit fillings, i go to great lengths to source the best ingredients.

To make your dream cake a reality, I need anywhere between 2-5 days' advance notice for most orders, depending upon the complexity of the cake. This is only so as to provide the best to you without compromising on the taste or quality of the product.
