About Seva Sankalp in Seva Sankalp, Private ward No. 1, District Hospital Campus, Satna

Selfless service to humanity is the greatest virtue .With this vision, Seva Sankalp was started on 14th Feb, 2010 from the premises of District Hospital of Satna in Madhya Pradesh. Everyday hundreds of patients with all kind of ailments visit district hospital from distant locations. Along with them are their family members and well wishers, whose sufferings are no less than the patients. They have to wander for food and other basic necessities with limited money. To reduce their suffering Seva Sankalp started to provide one time pure & hygienic meal at nominal rate of Rs.5 at the district hospital campus. District administration also came forward and alloted a permanent space for its operation. With the extraordinary response and support from donors, district administration and people's representatives, Seva Sankalp started its full fledge operations providing full time meal twice everyday to around 500 people. It has also purchased two mortuary vehicles for carrying dead bodies.

Seva Sankalp envisages to start simiar activities in other part of country and associate people from across the nation for this noble cause. It is also planning to start more such activities in areas of healthcare and education .

Our basic objectives are :

1.) To conduct various activities for the welfare of mankind, such as, providing food, clothing, medicines, blankets etc. to the patients and their relatives in hospitals, helpless children, handicapped and old people.

2.) To provide necessary financial support for the poor and handicapped, and make arrangements for their shelter, drinking water and health facilities, education and vocational training.
