About Santiniketan Center for Integrated Social Research in Shyambati, Santiniketan

SCISR starts its journey in the year 2016 with like minded researchers and professionals, yet with different skills and scholarship. The organisation aims at researching at the edge where all the social sciences gets merged . In this moment, where change itself seems to be static, there is a pressing need of sustainable development, in all its versions, for all human settlements. It has to be seen that they are duly serviced by basic civic amenities for ensuring better quality of life by utilising the resources judiciously and efficiently. There is also a need to educate communities and keeping their physical, economic, and social efficiency and enlarging the scope for their well-being. SCISR vows to keep these pressing needs as their core around which all its activities revolve.
