State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak is a Registered Society, and is an autonomous body under Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana. Rohtak town is situated 70 km South to Delhi on the National Highway No 10 and is well connected to rail & road net works. Rohtak is famous for its well-known education institutes – Maharshi Dayanad University and Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma P.G.I. M.S. Rohtak. State Institute of Hotel Management is an addition to ‘Rohtak Educational Orbit’.

The inauguration of the State institute of hotel management, Rohtak and Foundation laying of the hostel and staff accommodation was organized on 21st August, 2012 in the gracious presence of the Honorable Tourism Minister (Govt of India) , Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana and other dignitaries.
