About SPVKendra in within Bamboo Ranch, Udayapur Village, Rayagada

Sirisha Prakruthi Vignana Kendra (SPVKendra) is a Non-Profit / Public Charitable Trust.

The genesis of this trust lies in the efforts put in by Shri. K Mangapathi Rao IAS, and his family who have been taking up the causes of Afforestation, Tribal Welfare, Health, Practical Science, Vocational Training and Education within their personal capacity. The Trust is formed to continue these activities at a larger scale and to be of more help to the beneficiaries and to continue these activities indefinitely.

Sirisha Prakruthi Vignana Kendra is named in the memory of his deceased daughter Sirisha, who was an avid lover of nature and a kind soul, who never let any person in need leave empty handed. Incidentally, the name ‘Sirisha’ also means a Sacred Flower. Thus, SPVK aspires to become the Sacred Flower of Sirisha with its Petals representing the various activities we aim to pursue.
