About J&k National Conference Student's Union in , Rajbagh

The following will be the aims and objectives of the organization:
1. To advocate, secure, maintain, promote and safeguard the rights, liberties as well as genuine interests of the student community.
2. To promote the social, cultural and intellectual development of the students community.
3. To represent the educational interests of the students.
4. To promote studies and discussion on academic matters.
5. To help the students to fulfil their academic obligations.
6. To suggest initiate and work for suitable legislation affecting educational policy with special reference to rights and responsibilities of students.
7. To promote mutual contact, a democratic outlook and a spirit of oneness among the students.
8. To promote among the students a sense of service to the people and duty towards the state.
9. To promote consciousness among the students of the events taking place.
10. To promote harmonious relations among all sections of the Community.
11. To meet, discuss and make representations to the authorities on matters concerning common interests of the students.
12. To intervene in matters of student rights violation and support the students to get justice.
13. To democratize the structure of decision making in the university in order to be able to effectively strive for relevance in the education.
14. To promote social harmony amongst the students of the university.
15. To work as an interface (bridge) between the students and the administration.
16. To promote the objectives for which the organisation has been established.
17. To provide platform for open debate, dialogue and discussion.
18. To promote standard, discipline and conduct amongst the students.
19. To foster corporate and social life among the students.
20. To organize events and recreational activities for the benefit of the students, and
21. To arrange social and welfare work.
22. To treat all students of the university equally, regardless of race, religion, class, creed, colour, place of national origin, socio-economic status, gender, sexual orientation, political ideologies or views, marital status, educational interests, or be they mentally or physically challenged.
23. To make this organization a platform, an instrument for the students where they can express their views, grievances and genuine demands.
