The youth of malankara church on September 1972 at YMCA Hall. Fr. P.M. Thomas Presided and Sri Varghese chembola became the convenor and started his carrier On 27th October 1972 at Kottayam the 15th Patriarch day celebrating was held under the basis of Akhila Malankara. It was celebrated successfully by the hard work and support of the youth who worked day and night.
On 18th November 1972, Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Youth Association was established in a “Palliprathipushayogam” held at Kumarakom Allamangalam church. It was also decided to from a youth section and Sri Varghese chempda was selected as a convenor of a committee.

That committee had organized Youth sectior on many parts of the Malankara. In 1973 January a youth conference had formed an organization named malankara Jocobite Christian Youth association with the recognition Malankara Jacobite Association at Kottayam and it started its activates.

As the duty had assigned to the Malankara Association committee on 2nd October 1973, the Meeting of the activist of youth association gathered by the convenor, Sri. Varghese chembola In that meeting Rev. Fr P.C. Philip [later he became a metropditan named philipose mar Evanious] was selected as the president, Sri Varghese chembola as the general secretary – E.T. Thomas, Androse Kallunkathara, Jacob Mangadan, John Eapen, Thomas V Sacard, M.C. Thomas, Punnan Kurian, V.J. John and M.A. Kuriakose were the organizers. That committee was formed and started its work. As it was decided by the Youth association, the youth of each parish assembled together.

On 27th October 1973 the Malankara Youth Conference was held at Mamman Hall in which Rev. Fr. Varghese Kallapara Magurated the function. It was president by Rev. Fr. P.C. Philip The conference was conducted by the consent of Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Association. To this conference Our supreme Patriarch sent an order to bless the youth Association.

By considering the request from the Sub – Committee which was held in 1973 at Malanka Youth conference, H.G. Thomas Mar Divaniouse Metropolitha called upon a meeting of Youth.It was held on 29th
and 30th of may 1974 at Kothamangalam Church. The re-organixation of Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Youth Association was done in that meeting. The following decisions were taken. H.G. Thomas Mar Divannasious was selected as the President of M.J.C.Y.A. rev. Varghese Kallappara as the vice president, secretaries were Sri. Varghese chembola and P.P. Issac. Treasure was T.V. Chacko and the south zone President was Rev. Fr. P.C. Philip and they decided to start branches of youth Association in all parishes under the control of central committee.

In order to take future plans of Youth association on 22nd Febuary 1975 a Youth conference was held at Ernakulam Town Hall.

The constitution of Youth association was passed in a meeting held at Bethed Suloko Church on 28th September 1975. Rev. Fr. Varghese Kallappara presented the nakkal of this constitution.

As the order by H.G. Basalious Paulose II catholicose the annual camp was held on 21st ,22nd and 23rd of May 1976 at Thurithissery Simbasana Pally. H.G. Samual Mar Philaxinose Metropolithan was appointed as the Y.A. Pressident on the Holy Synad. The Youth representative conference presided by Rev. Fr. Varghese Kallapa selected the following members for the central committee Rev. Fr. P.C. Philip was vice president, Sri. Varghese chembola as the general secretary, Rev. on Varghese Puliyan Ankamaly and V.J. John Kottayam as the zonal secretaries, C.V. Rajan Kandanad, Rev. On Thomas Varghese kondanad, p.P. Issac Thrikkalathoor, T.M. Varghese Alwye, P.V. Ummachan Kochi, Rev. Dn. Varghese P.Pulayath Kothi rev. Dn. Kuriakose Moolayil Kottayam, M. Joshua Niranam and Sri V.V. Thomas Kollam were selected as the members of this committee.
