About ECS IISER Pune in Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pashan, Pune

The Earth and Climate Sciences Program is a relatively new addition to the existing array of fundamental science programs (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology along with advanced computational methods) @ IISER Pune.

The greater goal of this program is to have a robust multidisciplinary approach towards understanding the earth systems and their interrelationships.

Together, we cover a wide range of scientific expertise on topics such as Computational Geoscience, Characterization & Dynamics of near surface Earth systems, Deep Earth Exploration, Glaciers and Hydrogeology; Ocean-Atmosphere-Solid Earth Interaction Processes and Modeling, Earth and Life (Evolution and Extinctions).
