About Kalpana in Pashan Sus Road, Pune

Right since my childhood, the words - art, imagination, creativity have been synonymous with my grandmother. Be it sketching, painting, crocheting, tatting, knitting, writing, or cooking, she could do it all.. And she was excellent at it.

My grandparents were very confident about my creative abilities (which I believed to be non-existent).

A technical writer by profession and a mother to a super-active toddler; I needed something that would give me a break from my routine. And for someone who likes matching accessories with everything, what better hobby than making jewelry.

And this the story of the birth of Kalpana ~ Handmade accessories by Aparna.

"Kalpana" is a dedication to my grandparents, for believing in my creative streak, even when I didn’t.. :)

This is a home-based accessories' store in Pune. Every item here is handmade. Our accessories are unique, elegant and easy on the pocket too.
