About CSR for PMC Schools in PMC Collective Social Responsibility (CSR) Cell Late Lal Bahadur Shastri PMC School No.14 B, Shivaji Nagar Gaothan, Behind Congress Bhavan, Pune

CSR for Schools : -
This project is a Pune Municipal Corporation initiative.
Shyamchi Aai Foundation (SAF) a not for profit organisation working in the field of education has assisted in funding , conceptualization, design, development and execution as a part of their social responsibility .

This project has been recognised by the Maharashtra Prathamik Shikshan Abhiyan Appraisal report 2014 as an innovative project in CSR in Urban.

Mr. Nikhil Pant, Principal Consultant - National Foundation of CSR (IICA) has also vetted this project and recommends scaling it up to other urban and rural areas in due course of time.

SAF will offer support for implementing this project for the next 3 years before handing it over to the PMC.

SAF along with the PMC has conducted a detailed need analysis based on RTE and identified the gaps existing in each school that can be bridged by joint efforts of the society.

The students of Symbiosis school of economics helped facilitate this need analysis.

The PMC Supervisors and Headmasters have validated the data and the needs of the schools.
