About Shivvardhan Dhol Tasha Dhwaj Pathak in Mahalaxmi Lawns, Near Rajaram Bridge, Pune

Shivvardhan Pathak is a group of young enthusiastic people coming playing traditional dhol-tasha in Ganesh Festival. Formed in the year 2011 with a mere strength of 5-6 members, Shivvardhan has grown to huge strength of more than 375 members.

Members of Shivvardhan come from different backgrounds and life circles. There are students coming from various educational streams to different professionals such as lawyers, company secretaries, chartered accountants, engineers etc. Although they come from diverse backgrounds they are all connected with their extraordinary passion of playing dhol tasha. Members participating in Shivvardhan are not only from different educational background but also from different age groups. Parents and children participate equally with the same passion and enjoy the Ganesh Festival.

Since the year 2011 Shivvardhan has been constantly enthralling the listeners with its tunes and adding to the joy of Ganpati festival which is the centre of attraction of our city. Shivvardhan has also been successfully reaching out to the large number of people who are willing to contribute positively to the society.

Through this initiative, Shivvardhan believes in building self-confident positive generation for the betterment of the society at large.
