About Government Polytechnic - Porbandar in Opposite of Civil Airport, Near Jilla Seva Sadan 1, NH-8B, Porbandar, Porbandar

The institute was established in 1960, and shifted in the new building in 1965. the campus measuring about 14 hactres (35 acres) is full of developed trees and greeneries. A large play area is used by students for outdoor sports. The institute is rich enough in building facilities.

Main building : consists of offices, students’ section, class rooms, drawing rooms, staff rooms, lavatory blocks etc.

Laboratory wings: mechanical lab, electrical lab., electronics lab., hydraulics lab. App. Mechanics lab., general lab.

Workshop: consists carpentry shop, fitting shop, turning and milling shop, welding shop, tin smithy shop etc.

L. R. C. building : consists of computer center, media and model room, library, reading room, D. L. M. section etc.
