The main objective of the Society is to promote and popularize science & technology, with focus on emerging areas, career opportunities and issues of current relevance. We focus on general public and in particular students. For funding, the SPSTI depends on individuals, socially conscious companies and governments. The SPSTI has taken up a number of projects to fulfill its objective. At present, its area of operation is Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. More States would be added in due course of time.
