Promoters and Management Team Krishna B. Kotak

Mr.Krishna B. Kotak, is the Chairman of J.M. Baxi & Co., a company synonymous with shipping support services in India since 1916. Starting as a shipping agency, the JM Baxi group under Mr. Kotak’s leadership has successfully spearheaded into related logistics services e.g. project cargo movement, dry bulk and container port infrastructure, container freight stations, container rail operations, etc. Owing to his in-depth knowledge and over three decade experience of the Indian transportations sector,

Mr. Kotak has been a regular member of numerous government committees and trade forums on the maritime sector.

Mr.Prasanna Rao, Managing Director
Prasanna has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), India in 1999. He has experience of working in the Cooperative marketing, FMCG Sales and Agri-financing sectors for the last 15 years. As part of his 8 year stint at ICICI Bank, the largest private sector Bank in India, he has headed the Agri-commodity finance business and had built / managed a peak portfolio of $500.0 million for the Bank. During his stint in ICICI bank he was instrumental in the development of finance portfolio for Agri Supply Chain Infrastructure. He has closely worked with Agri Processors, Traders, Commission agents, Farmers across various agricultural mandis in India. He has also worked with prestigious organisations like Amul and Coca-Cola in India in the areas of supply chain, marketing and sales.

Mr.Anand Chandra, Executive Director

Anand is a graduate of Agricultural Sciences and has completed his MBA with a specialization in Agri-Business Management from MANAGE. He has an experience of 10 years in Agri-Commodity Based financing. He has been a part of ICICI Bank as the National Product Head for the Agri-Commodity Finance Business. Has been instrumental in developing the product and the associated processes for the Bank since the inception of the product

Mr.Ritesh Raman, Head Collateral Management

Ritesh is an MBA in Agribusiness Management from the National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur and completed his graduation in Horticulture Sciences from Maharashtra. He has rich experience in Commodity Finance, Agri-Warehousing & Collateral Management, Strategic Planning and Sales & Marketing of agri-inputs and agri-infrastructure consulting. His professional lineage associates him with ICICI Bank Ltd. as Zonal Head-Commodity Control & Management Group under Commodity Finance Division. Over his 10 years of professional experience, he has worked with National Collateral Management Services Limited (NCMSL) and rolled out its warehousing and collateral management business in the states of MP & Chhattisgarh.

Mr.Sandeep Katiyar, Finance, Head Market Linkage & Inclusion

Sandeep is an MBA in Rural Management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand. He has an experience of 8 years in agriculture finance for SMEs and corporate and project advisory for agriculture infrastructure projects. He has worked with ICICI Bank for more than five years in agriculture finance wing. He has extensively covered the northern and western part of India during his stint in the ICICI Bank. After working with ICICI Bank, he has worked for around two years with IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative Limited (a subsidiary of IL&FS Ltd.) as project manager for agriculture infrastructure projects. During his stint with IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative Ltd., he has handled various projects for establishment of food processing hubs, warehouses and integrated cold chain infrastructure projects.

Mr.Shenoy Mathew, Head Storage Solutions

Shenoy has completed his graduation in Agricultural Sciences from S.V Agricultural College under the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad. Thereafter he did his Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management from National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) Hyderabad. Before joining ARYA, Shenoy was heading the marketing function for the Herbicides and Rice fungicides business of Dow AgroSciences, the agro division of The Dow Chemical Company. He has more than ten years of experience with Dow AgroSciences and has held key positions including that of Corporate and Exports Business Leader and Regional Manager – Karnataka division.

Mr.Joginder Ralhan, FPO Linkages and Agri Consultancy

Joginder is a BE Mechanical (1994-98) from CR state college of Engg, Haryana and PGDRM (2003-05) from Institute of Rural Management (IRMA). His 13 ½ years of experience includes 9 years in sales and marketing in dairy & food industry with Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul) and Parag Foods (Go/Gowardhan) in different capacities. This includes industrial marketing of Poly Film, sales and marketing of milk and milk products in Ahmedabad, Delhi and Northern states. Before pursuing Management from IRMA, Joginder worked as Engineer with Orient brand of The Printers House Ltd. Faridabad (Haryana) for 4 ½ years in the area of product development and manufacturing.
