india42 was born out of this need for immersion travel, when a passionate group of travelers decided to redefine the experience of travel in India. We handpick spectacular, offbeat locations in the country by visiting them ourselves. We also engage deeply with the locals at these locations, to understand their culture and their style of living.

This painfully detailed background research helps us create very unique experiences for travelers. And we manage everything for our clients, from bookings and transport to food and lodgings. An india42 experience manager accompanies each group of travelers, well obviously; the safety and comfort of our clients is our topmost priority. In many cases, our experience managers also teach various skills to travelers along the journey, such as photography, camping, yoga, and even Hindi in the case of non-Indian travelers.

We are not a travel agency, an itinerary planner, a ticket booking or a trip advisory company. We hate the term travel packages, because travel cannot be packaged.
