As a kid, you would have often splashed in the puddle and gone home all caked and muddied much to the chagrin of your mother. Well, you surely have come a long way from that. But deep inside we all have that streak of adventure, only the hum-drum of day-to-day work life takes precedence over everything else, and of course, for a reason. We have to earn our living.
So, should we give up on adventure? Of course not. We have all been through the tricycle-to-the-100 cc bike phase, with the bicycle, moped and the scooter thrown in between. And during this growing up phase, we passed our school, high school, graduation and maybe even post-graduation and are now all well settled into our respective careers.
It's kind of amusing that when we were studying and relying on pocket money or stipends, we never shied away from doing one adventure or the other, cycling 10 kms away to a friend's place at age 12, or, riding to a nearby place 180 to 200 kms at age 18, and now, when we are earning on our own, those very little adventures seem so alien to us.
Well, not exactly. We have time and money and more importantly, age and a strong body on our side. Don't fret and let the wanderlust bug die, only to regret later the time and the opportunity lost now.
