June 2006, Sanjay Mangla, the founder of Tuffman took up running to keep a check on his weight. For Sanjay, a 4 KM morning run was like any other lifestyle routine, until in 2013 where he found that a person could run 100 KM. He was awed that a human being could actually run 100 KM! He further investigated on long running distance on the web and got to know about ultra running. The running bug was slowly biting him. The curiosity became a passion as got interested in Ultra Running and got in touch with people who have run the distances. A passionate man he is, Sanjay just let his adrenaline flow and registered for the Bhatti Lakes 100 KM with a three month training period. Since Sanjay's objective was only to complete it through run and walk, it was risk that could change his life and oh yes, it did for the good!

Sanjay completed the 100 KM within 24 hours and his joy knew no bounds. He went to complete the Nilgiris 50 KM, Airtel Delhi Half Marathon and Manger 56 KM along with his friend and partner Gangesh Mishra.

Sanjay and Gangesh, formed a group of runners, called Get Set Run and started training for upcoming events. Sanjay's passion did not stop in just participating events. As now an ultra runner, he wanted to give back something to the running community along with promote running and bring more people to running for a healthy lifestyle through Tuffman.

Tuffman is now a registered group and it all set to organize it's first event on June 21, 2014 at Shimla. This event promises an experience of a lifetime and is all set to be the best running event one has to experience with India's top ultra runner Arun Bharadwaj as the race director.
