Excellentia E-QUEST Pvt. Ltd. now presents The EXCELLENTIA EQUITATION CENTRE VASANT KUNJ, the most centrally located Horse-Riding Centre in the Capital.

Established in an area of 3 acres, just 5 mins from DLF Promenade in Vasant kunj, The Equitation Centre provides professional training in Basic horse-riding skills as well as the sport of Equestrian comprising Show-Jumping, Dressage, Eventing and even the sport Polo.

Equipped with top quality facilities and equipment, the centre caters to two Riding arenas as well as a space for stabling upto 30 horses at one time and a fully functional cafetaria with a lovely sit-out.

Excellentia E-QUEST Pvt. Ltd. is pioneered by Udai Singh, a known rider who has been part of the Indian Team and has been actively competing at the national/international level for several years.
The idea of E-QUEST is based on years of experience relating to the minute details of Horse Riding and Stable management.
It is directed towards providing Riding facilities to schools with special emphasis on maintaining highest standards of Quality and Safety.

WHY HORSE-RIDING

Riding is the ideal way to introduce the Olympic sport of Equestrian at an early age.

It is universally known to help in character building.

It will help the children to imbibe the qualities of empathy, responsibility, grit, determination, sportsmanship, courage and compassion through the medium of animals.

Learning to control an animal so much larger than yourself does wonders to boost your self-confidence.

The act of caring for a horse gives humans experience of relationships, responsibility and friendship, bonding with the noble horse is the best stress buster you can find!

Hacking out burns up approximately 40 calories per 10 minutes or 240 calories per hour. Riding a horse burns up 70 calories per 10 mins or 360 calories per hour. It is an excellent form of exercise.

By its very nature, horse riding influences the whole person and the effect on all the body's systems can be profound. The unique combination of the horse and its movement with the rider produces an extraordinary effort on all the systems of the body.

Riding a horse requires a great deal of co-ordination in order to get the desired response from the horse. Repetition of the patterned movements required in controlling the horse aid to quicken the reflexes.

It leads to improved co-ordination and relaxation, riding stimulates the vestibular system by the movement of the horse and its changes in direction and speed.

Although riding is a strenuous exercise, it is perceived as enjoyment, therefore the children will have increased tolerance and motivation to lengthen the period of exercise.

9. E-QUEST provides adequate grooms to look after the horses. These grooms are well trained and specially selected keeping in view the purpose of working in a school. These grooms are also kept in proper uniform and are well paid to ensure quality of work.

11. The E-QUEST training system is based on VIDEO BASED LEARNING, facilities for which are provided by E-QUEST itself.

12. E-QUEST has proper methods, systems and exercises that are used to specifically develop qualities such as grit, determination, patience, compassion, Empathy etc.

13. E-QUEST provides a full time professional trainer with good communication skills to the School. This trainer will be an ex-servicemen rider from either one of 61st Cavalry, Presidents Body Guards, Remount and Veterinary Core or Army Services Core of the Indian Army with atleast 20 years of experience in training riders as well as horses.
