Outward Bound Himalaya is a team-based outdoor leadership development program. The aim is to help young people prepare for their journey of life by instilling self-belief, confidence, resilience and compassion.

We do this through discovery – of themselves, their group, their surroundings and ultimately their own potential to transcend self-limiting barriers.

The Programs are all internationally recognized and are offered across all age groups - children, young adults and professionals. A completion certificate at the end of the Program is a mark of honour, and a great addition to your resume - especially for students applying for education abroad.

Outward Bound Himalaya is part of Outward Bound International, a global educational organization founded in 1941. Originally the idea of celebrated German educator Kurt Hahn, Outward Bound, with over 40 centres worldwide, has flourished for more than sixty years and has been a centre stone for experiential learning (learning by doing) as seen by the many offshoot organizations that follow its principles: IAYP (Duke of Edinburgh Award), Round Square and the United World Colleges.
