About Vasant Kunj Methodist Church in U - Block, Machi Market, Mangol Puri, New Delhi

Pastor Sunil Balasundram , the first pastor of the church . From its very inception
In its ecumenical call the church had open arms to welcome people of all faith in India . This calling was well understood in the most coordinated way both by the congregation and Pastor Sunil.
The children youth and the elders of the congregation and the pastor were all together in this evangelical approach to reach out to the community of the city of excellence - Vasant Kunj . Enthusiasm of the young pastor was the main driving force as he taught all of us to build our relationship with our dear Lord.

Though he contributed extensively to the church of Vasant Kunj his most significant contribution was the PREM SANDESH the message of love . A powerful presentation on stage and shadow play, a work of the Holy Spirit very clearly as we experienced in its composing efforts . Praveena , Pastor Sunil Jaswant and Asha Rathore were huddled together in Pastor's office at midnight when this great creation of God was being directed by the Holy Spirit . These are those precious memories that have kept us alive and kicking even to this day 21 yrs later.

Today, the Vasant Kunj Community Church is now a part of the Methodist Church in India and is known as VASANT KUNJ METHODIST CHURCH or in short VKMC. It is a beautiful congregation of people residing in Vasant Kunj and near around areas. All come together and worship the living Lord in a class room of Ryan International School. It is a harmonious, joyful and enlightening service week by week especially with the contribution of the youth of VKMC and the leadership of our Pastor Ramesh Pathak.

We pray that all those who join the VKMC family may grow closer to our Lord and also grow as a strong and wonderful human being as the Lord Jesus wanted us to be.
