Why "Asha Hai"
Asha Hai... Particularly and very consciously works towards the development of social skills of a child. Many a times the social element of a child’s personality is neglected which later results in difficulty within the child to interact with others at a social level. Our unique module of Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Integrated developmental therapy and special education based on play and art is given to a child during and after the classroom sessions helping them develop social skills which is of great advantage for the child.

Asha Hai... follows the Montessorian concept which begins with a deep respect for children as unique individuals. We focus on their social and emotional development.

Asha Hai conducts classes with children with special needs and mainstream children together. This allows the teachers to treat all the children in their class equally giving everyone an equal opportunity so that it is easier for the special children to settle in a mainstream school.

The classrooms are not run by the teacher’s alone. Students are guided to manage their own community and develop leadership skills and independence.

Asha Hai...assumes that all children are born intelligent; they simply learn in different ways and progress with their own pace. Every child has a consciously designed module so as to recognize and address different learning styles, helping the child to learn in an effective manner.

Children become actively engaged in their studies and enjoy school as activities are done by them out of free will.

Asha Hai.... does not stick to only class room experiences but includes a love for the natural world. Natural science and outdoor education is imbibed as an important element of our children’s experiences. We encourage students to develop self discipline and an internal sense of purpose and motivation. Students learn not to be afraid of making mistakes; they come to see their mistakes as natural steps in the learning process.
